Hey Rusty,

Unlike guys posting pix of their green lawnmower on this site instead of their tractor, below is how I post to this board...

The way I post one pic to the YT site is first, I send a pic to the 'incoming' file at photopoint.com. Then I log in to photopoint.com, then move the picture to a new file, say one for holding pics that I am posting to the forums. We'll call it the "tractor pix" file. Once the pic I wanna post is in the tractor pix file, I click on it once to get into the file itself then when that's done loading I click on it again to get into the exact place where the pic is stored at photopoint. Then (in Windows 98) I click 'Edit', then highlight the address at photopoint.com where the pic is that I wanna post then I click 'copy', then I minimize the photopoint.com screen then maximize the YT site with the spot where I wanna post my picture. Then I put the cursor in the very last YT address URL line (Optional Image URL box) and above click "edit", then 'paste', thereby putting into that line the address I want to come up automatically on the YT N Series board. To put it another way, when your pic is in some album at photopoint, you keep clicking on the picture you wanna post until you get the same picture with a URL address ending in "sequence=0". That's the address you wanna highlight and post to the Optional Image URL box at the YT board to get the pic to come up automatically. Kinda wordy, but hope this helps. Mike p.s. snowin' here now. glad you sent some this way.

Rusty,

The posting procedure should still work just fine on your older PC with Windows 95. Photopoint is a great site for uploading your pix to and posting to this board. HTH Mike

Sorry you didn't like the pic of my JOHN DEERE mower. Regardless I thought I posted it just fine!

Perhaps you should know that I give presentations on N series tractors for grange halls and other agricultural organizations, as well as a number of equipment dealers and antique tractor clubs. I am a member of the Maine Antique tracotr club and have 3 N tractors. I have over 5000 tractor pics and over 500 N pics. If you ever need a pic let me know!

Sorry you didn't get the point that my little "green" mower couldn't lift the "deer(e)", and that my 8N would have been better for the job.

Mr. Snowplow,

Never said I didn't like the picture of your lawnmower on this tractor board but merely that instead of posting unrelated pix of green machines (which are the color of choice around here), I prefer to post pictures of Ford tractors.

To be flamed by you in a passive-agressive style insinuating that my little Ford is not a 'working tractor' because I post pix of it in the off season was hard to understand. How about posting one picture of your 3N's? Mike

Sorry you did't appreciate my "green" humor. I thought that it was funny to see a "deere" that could't lift a "deer", and an N would have been a better choice.

I'm not really sure what all the working tractor stuff is about. This board has always been a celebration of all Ns, restored, working, rusty, or junk! We love them all but especially the working ones!

I don't want to get into a pissing contest about this. Sorry about the tone. We are all on the same team here.

The picture is of me plowing with my 2N after a freak october snow storm this year. Quailty is poor but it's recent.
