I live in Red Creek, NY about 40 miles east of Rochester. An N-BBQ in mid September sounds like fun and I'll be in Ont at that time to attend a Fjord show and pick up a foal. I have a 1949 8N that is used for brush hoggin about 8 acres and general farm stuff but no way to transport it anywhere (it's just slightly too big to fit in the horse trailor)

Hi Burt,

I live in Pavilion, NY about 30 miles south west of Rochester. I would be interested in a BBQ in mid September. I have a 1942 9N that is used for brush hoggin about 4 acres, snow plowing in the winter, and maintenence on the driveway year round. Also I collect oilfield engines and have been known to trailer the 9N to Pa. to drag the oilfield engines to a loading area. Sometimes I have to dismantle the engine and drag it out a piece at a time. The 9N has a little trouble dragging 12,500 lbs. even with the tires loaded. ;-) Sounds like a great plan. See ya, Craig...

Craig....that is quite a shop....loved the article by Jay Leno. I live in Honeoye Falls...not to far away. I would travel for a N barbecue. Is this just a hobby, or do you do any work for profit?

Take Care
Steve

Hi Steve,

Believe it or not, its just a hobby although I spend a lot of time machining and making parts for these old oilfield engines. Its great to bring this old iron back to life. Its the same feeling as keeping a 50 year old N tractor running and working. Hope this N BBQ becomes a reality. See ya, Craig...

Burt,

I am down near Syracuse I have 2 Ford 8N's, a'51 & '52 (8N432253),(8N486797)...use them to keep the place up...bush hog, move snow, grade the road and such.

I have a few parts to share/sell, also have a lot of Model A and Flat head V-8 parts too if anyone is interested.

Might not be able to do an over nighter, but I would love to do the Bar-B-Que, I have family up in Adams so it's on the way and would work out well for me.

Let me know.

Thanks.

Sal
