We haven't had any rain in our area in Missouri for several weeks. Well we have a patch that must have springs, it seems to be wet continually. I thought without the rain it would be an excellent time to cut it. Well, wrong.... I buried the 2N and had to call my wife (now that's another story) to bring out the 4Rummer to pull me out. We had to pull it out twice because I tried to use the 2N to pull the brush hog out and buried it again. Needless to say the 2N was a conplete mess, so I got the power wash out and gave it a "total" cleaning. I thought the old 2N would be sitting in the back yard for sometime until it dried out. I converted to 12volts last year and thought to give it a try, and the old 2N kicked off immediately and ran like a charm. She never ceases to amaze me..... .

Buried mine last year up to the rear axle. mud everywhere, especially on me from head to toe. Tried to pull it out with jeep, buried it past the axles. neighbor pulled me out with front loader and turned into the mud to let me pass, front loader stuck to the axle. other neighbor pulled him out with bigger giant John Deere. By now people are pulling over the side of road laughing hysterically and drinking beer. What a kodak moment, had a great time though.

I don't know if this will help or not, but when I get bogged down with my pull-behind bush hog, it works better if I pull the mower out using a chain attached to the front bumper of my 2N and back away from it.
