Went to the Antique Steam Assn. tractor show in Mason, Mich. (south of Lansing) Saturday, very good turnout. A few big steamers, they're fun to watch in the tractor pull! Far more gas engined tractors though, lotsa Farmalls, Cases, AC's, Deere's up the wazoo, a few offbeat and interesting items, and exactly 1 8N. Also a lovely blue and light gray 9N. Disappointing Ford showing, but then I didn't take mine either...
One fella had a neat park-bench type seat mounted on his 3-point, carried the family around with it, I thought it was a good idea.

Ok flea market too, but lots of OT craft stuff and junk I would have thrown away (which is saying something!). Found two Ford screwdrivers, one made by "Advance Tool" supposedly for Ford tool kits, the other one was genuine but in poor shape. $10 for both, I went home happy.

We gotta get the Fords out there....

I agree. From watching the tractor shows on RFD-TV, you would think only 3 kinds of gas tractors were ever made in the US -- JD, Farmall, and Allis Chalmers.

Noticed the same thing in Norwalk OH. Red, Orange and Green, not hardly any gray. 1 8N and 1 truck conversion. Only otherthing Ford was a couple of lawn tractors dressed out to be 0000 series. My guess is all the Fords were out working and to busy to set around and look good. Did get to see alot of those single cylinder motors though. One guy had one set up to run a corn grinder. Its just amazing how simple they were, yet all they could do.

Yep, I think you're right Errin, all the Fords are still out workin', while the pretty-boy Deere's and frou-frou Alice's (Allis, whatever...)are playing Cinderella at the ball. Guess that's all they're good for.
