In looking at the pic the first thing that jumps out at me is that the N foot pedal is on the same side of the tractor as the carb, so that all the motion of the linkage is more or less on one plane. On the later tractors the carb is on the left side of the engine and that seems to be where the transfer of motion gets lost on mine...trying to convert up and down motion of the pedal to side to side motion (east-west) as it transfers over to the other side of the tractor, then changing directions again to north-south to the throttle linkage at the carb. I may have to rig the pedal to the right side of the tractor but I see problems there, too. One, using the left foot for throttle action seems unnatural for an american. Two, assuming I could overcome the first problem, I'd be using my clutch foot to push the accelerator pedal....not sure that's good practice. Thanks for the pic!
