I was mowing today with my 49 8N and when I put it under load it would loose power and miss.
It finally quit after a little bit. I checked carb, there is fuel to it and in the bowl. I took the carb apart and cleaned it out. There is no fuel getting to the cylinders. All ports are open in the carb. There is spark to all cylinders. Maybe someone has some help for me. Thanks

How much flow is a good flow, like in ounces per minute, or something like that? Hey Mark, looking good with the 135. Should be a good workhorse for you.

Sounds like your fuel is not flowing fast enought from the tank. There is a screen on top of the shut off valve that can get cloged and slow the fuel down enought to not let it work under a heavy load. Mark H.

Sometimes by the time you get tools to check for the fuel it has dripped in and filled the carb up and you see no probem. You can also just disconect the Glass bowl and put a can under it and open the valve to see how fast it comes out. Mark H.
