Stuck parts! How do I get these apart?

I can't get the right drag link end to let go of the right hand steering sector on my 2N. Prying just makes the steering sector arm move. There isn't enough room to get a gear puller in to push the drag link end out of the steering sector. Has anyone had to come up with an ingeneous way to get these things apart when they are stuck? Naturally, the left hand side came apart fine. The drag link ends are in bad shape (grease fitting gone, cover all smashed) and need to be replaced. I believe I read a post in the archives that indicated I would not be able to find the correct end for my 2N, but instead would have to buy a one-piece drag link assembly? Is this correct?

Also, I can't get the key out of one of the spindles. This prevents me from removing the axle from the spindle to replace the spindle bearing. Does anybody know how to get one of these out when they are stuck?

RED WRENCH aka accetylene torch! Heat it up evenly use pb blaster or pennetrating fluid of choice then drive a forked tie rod tool in there tight. You may have to reheat a couple of times. it should free up then.(if you tap from the bottom run the nut down 1st so you do not damage your threads, especially when hot)

Easy Job, Back off the nut on the sector arm till it gos tight agaist a block of metal between the casting and the nut then just hit the arm and it will pop loose. You need to take up the play on the arm so it gets pushed out a little then tap the arm towards the tractor and the nut will shove the drag link socket out and loose. Use a small punch to knock the key out of the spindle or put some Vise Grips real tight on it and tap it out. Mark H.
