I'm new to the tractor scene.Bought a 1951 8n and was wondering how far the lever should move for it to raise fully and lower? Mine only moves about one inch total.Any help would be great. Thanks

Randy there are two levers for controling the Hyd.
system on the right side of the tractor. the Quadrant lever assy.(touch control lever long one)and the small lever(position control lever, put this lever in the vertical position for position control). You maybe in constant draft control if the small lever is fwd and not vertical.

George is correct if you were talking about the lift arms only moving a little.
I thought you were talking about the control being touchy. The one George is talking about is almost under the seat.

The position control lever is trickey.
On mine the weight of the impliment changes were the neutral position (not moving up or down) is.
But the handle itself should move the full range of the bracket it is in.
