That would be a ugly picture right now after our 6 year drought. It only has the hole with water in it. That's why I am building the island now befor winter puts the water back in. After I am done with the island I was going to take one. Mark H.

Mark, You might own the land under the pond, but the govt. owns the water. They have the right to take it all if they want to. But to fight a fire IM sure you are happy to see them take it. I know I would be. More on this subject later. Gota have lunch and get back to work pn my 9Ns mower.

Gosh Willy, I'd call that a lake!
Guess I think of a pond as no bigger than a swimming pool.
Nice to have the "air conditioning" that comes with having water nearby. Only bummer is the bugs that bite that hang out there too. Best defense I've found is driving the N - except that when I get off to adj the rear blade angle, I get bit.

N - joy.

When it is full it is about 9-10 acres in size and I call it both a Lake and a Pond. I was lucky to have it in the middle of the place to. It gives the cows a place to have some grass during the last part of the summer when every thing else is dead and gone. Mark H.

I gave up at 4 ft high! The rear blade keep draging dirt off the sides when I came over the top of it and down the side. I would have to drag a whole bunch more dirt to be able to drive up with out that happening. So Jim will come over with his Back Hoe and top it off with another 2 ft plus of dirt. He can do it sitting in one spot. Then I will clean up his mess. Mark
