Anyone have a secret to removing manifold studs?
I have one that is eroded, still usable, but the hood is off and I'm debating on taking the chance that the stud can be removed without twisting off.
Only thing I know is to put a wrench on it and hope it pops loose, or stop the pressure before something breaks. Any advice will be appreciated.

A method I have used for several years to remove "stuck" bolts is to heat the bolt up with a propane torch until its somewhat glowing and then swab beeswax around it (a beeswax candle works well if you do not have a block of beeswax). The beeswax literally sucks itself into real tight places and will coat the threads of the bolts. You may have to reheat and repeat.

Beekeeper..... can't understand why you would recommend "beeswax" (grin) but I will testify that your beeswax trick really does work..... ..Dell

Heat and WD-40 with a little tenderness
