Nice Pond Al. I have one as well. It is about 160' long, 55' wide and about 15' deep at its deepest point. I plan to build a dock for a canoe and/or a kayak and to fish off.

What are your demensions?

How are you gonna line your pond? For my little thing a synthetic liner would be about $11,000. Too much for me. I lined it with about 6" of clay.

Happy fishin!

Not sure on the size of the upper "Trout" pond as I am also going to raise the level of it, 80 X 100????It has a granite bottom. I also have a bass pond below that's about 1/3rd acre.

Beautiful! How lucky you are to have such a fine home and place to fish. There should be a way to preserve family treasures like this, so that not only your children and grandchildren enjoy it, but grandchildren of your grandchildren enjoy it as well. Well done.

Nice looking place. How deep is the pond going to be? Looks like a pretty good hole.

Originally it was about 9 feet. Should be about 14 when I'm done.
