I am finally ready to order a two spool control valve from Northern to replace the valve pictured above. It is item # 2012 and the description is: Two Spool Control Valve Cross brand valve has 4-way open center. 3/4in. inlet/outlet ports, 1/2in. work ports. Relief valve preset at 2000 PSI. Rated working pressure 2500 PSI, 4000 surge PSI. Flow rated at 30 GPM. Load checks not included. Do I need to buy check valves? How many? If you don't mind the question, why? I guess that I would plumb the bucket on one valve, and the loader arms on one side of the other valve with the other port of that valve plumbed into the return line. Many thanks for any help. Don't know how to post multiple pictures on this site, so will add the url for the norther valve I'm considering buying. Again, thanks
