I just rebuilt my carb on my 9n and I can't get it to run without the choke full on. I've tried readjusting without any luck. I soaked this thing in berrymans carb cleaner for three days. I think I got all the passages clean but it still won't run without full choke. Any Suggestions? Thanks in advance. Allen (;^)

Starting at the begining I assume you have checked for fuel flow from the tank to the carb (all three filters). Then as Zane said there is an item called an economizer which can be removed with an extended socket and make sure all the fine holes are open. Also make sure the float is dropping when it should. A few days ago another person found that the new rubber tip was sticking and not allowing the float to drop.

Quick tip for "welders tip cleaners". Keep or get the ends of guitar strings that are cut off after re stringing. These will be several sizes from .048 or so down to about .010 or so. The wound strings have a nice 'handle' on them. cut them to 3 or 4" and keep in tool box.

I always use a welders tip cleaner to open every orifice in the carburetor when cleaning one.

Carburetor cleaner will make it look nice but it won't get that hardened grime out of the little places.

Did you pull the high speed spray nozzle out of the center of the venturi of the carburetor and thouroughly clean it? Need to and the bottom of the carburetor where the high speed orifice is located too.
