In the last week or so I've started to get a sharp clank in the 51 8n rear when I start of on a down grade and also a duller clank when I coast down a hill and the tractor just starts uphill again.
Has anyone had or know what may be going on in there?

Paul..... ..sounds like your rearaxle hub is worn. Shake rear tire side-to-side. You might want to try and tighen your rear axle nut. 450 ft/lb torque and a 6' cheater bar..... ..Dell

Yea Im with Dell on that one, tighten all rear wheel nuts that big one in the middle is most important, had to replace rear hub because nuts were loose and messed up threads ( they were stripped ) .
