I was thinking about all the stuff I need to do to my tracor this winter and thought I'd make a list and ask what you folks are planning on.

My list:

Oil Change
Tune Up
Rebuild Lift Assy Top cover, cyl, valves, follower pin
Fix RH lift pin (Pull LH Axle Trumpet)
Fix PTO assy (Split Tractor Behind Tranny)
Live Thang

Ahhhh, winter...
Hopefully I'll have my 8N put back together by then. Winter's when it finally gets cool enough to do stuff outside.
(assuming the tractor's back together) I'll;
Clean the barn
Brush hog the pasture
Clean the barn
Cut some new pasture (with the brush hog)
Clean the barn
Cut firewood
Clean the barn
Build fence (?)
Clean the barn

Seems like I just can't keep that danged barn clean!!

I've got a lot to do BEFORE winter!! Gotta get the backblade out, clean it off and get a couple of good coats of hi-gloss paint on the mouldboard. Snow wouldn't scour worth a darn last year.

Planned on replacing my broken rear differential casing, but that would mean tearing down the entire rear of the tractor for a week or two. We'll see. Might make a good winter project.
