I need to check the Hydrolic fluid on my 1953 ford jubilee???? Where do I check it at? The rear bush hog wont raise up until the tractor has been running for some time.

I got a replacement dipstick for mine at the Ford New Holland dealer for less than $3.

There is a dipstick on the back part of the tractor, right side, underneath the position control lever. It is very common to find this dipstick missing, because it get's caught in your boot or pant leg when you climb off. (I am on #3 already!) You can buy one from most tractor supply places.

I devoted a bungie cord to hold mine in - more worried about getting dirt in there than losing the dipstick.

Don't know if it is the same as an 8N but there should be a dip stick on the right side of the tractor just rear of the seat.
