Ray, I beleive the Smith Tractor site had an extensive column about the correct colors. And where to get it. It may also have been the Ford Tractor Club Site. But acording to the article I read the actual colors are now available.

Speaking of orange.. I saw an 800 series.. dunno which it was.. but it had an orangish paint on the undercarriage.

I believe ford red for an n is vermillion red..right? and the grey for the 8n is ford medium grey.

Someone will correct me ifn I'm wrong.

I'm painting mine with the Tisco paint. The "orangish-red" paint is about "correct" (believe me, opinions vary on this) and the lighter gray is "correct." The darker gray would be for a 9 or 2N.

For good look at what the Tisco paint looks like, go to billstractor.com

They paint ALL their Ns with Tisco. You'll see that the orangish-red paint looks more like red after it dries.

... red and gray 9N under the "Used Tractor" button. It could be yours for only $3500.
