The lift on my 8n wont pick up all the way. Even when there is no implement on it, it only comes up about 3/4 of the way. I know there is nothing obsrtructing it because I can grab the arms and lift them up to where they are supposed to go, its just that the tractor wont pull them up that high. Also, they bleed all the way down overnight without an implement, and with something like a bushog it happens much faster than that. If anybody knows what might be the problem and how to fix it please email me, or if you need more info tell identify the problem email for that too. thanks

The cam follower pin probably is worn badly and needs to be replaced and the lift adjusted along with probably some minor fixing of the linkage etc.

I have a jig that I copied from memory from the original Ford lift adjusting jig that each Ford tractor dealer was required to own. I also have compiled a booklet to show how to use the jig etc.

See the link below for more information on it and other "Thangs"
