While gleaning this forum for many items for useful information I noticed a couple of Dave's, one Dell, a few Steves some Ed's and even a Levi. But it seems that there is an inordinate number of Rons. I'm convinced that if your name is Ron, you are either blessed with a brain-ful of information about Ford N's or you need a brainful and not afraid to ask for it. I seem to fit the latter.
Anyone in the area, don't forget "Old Timers" at the Greene Co. Fairgrounds in Xenia this weekend.

Isn't this about the 20th anniversary of the killer twister that went thru Xenia? Seems that was in about the early 1980's.

There were three Tornados in recent times. The big one was in 1974 that nearly destroyed the city. The next one was on or about 1990. This one took some roofs from some of the homes, but didn't do much more damage than that. The most recent was only 2 years ago in Sept. Because of it, we new have a new fairgrounds. Is it any wonder that Xenia has replaced Chicago as the 'windy city' in trucker jargon.

Yes, we have some duplicate names on this forum.

However, there are some unique names that bear mentioning as well:

1) Salmoneye - I just have this mental picture of a guy with an unusual optical organ.

2) rbell- Does he know the war's over?

3) Seer- a reclusive philantropist wannabe that is afraid to be seen in public (and probably doesn't even own a tractor)?

4) Barnstormer- I wonder if he owns a biplane?

5) Ultradog- A cartoon superhero?

6) Mountainman- Seen "Jeramiah Johnson" too mant times?

7) Rusty2N- Will he change his name if he paints his tractor?

8) Forrest- Gump?

Anybody wanna venture a guess while they call me "Evil"?

"6) Mountainman- Seen "Jeramiah Johnson" too many times?"

Yep, I guess so. Actually sat through the whole thing on two seperate occasions. That was a long time ago. Probably danced to a band like yours a lot more recently.

If I had used Jerry in MN I might not have gotten
an honorable mention here.
Though I can't say that the mention was honorable
either. Heh Heh

That or it is a stage name which sort of ties into the name that little honky tonk your so found of. Hang'em high Evil! Next time I head to Bexar County, I'm going to check that place out. Nothing like a cold beer on a hot day, or a cold day, or a warm day, or a....

Yeah, it's a stage name. Got it at the Hangin' Tree Saloon. The internationally acclaimed "One Eyed Jacks" band is playing there this Friday night. Got a great bass player. ;-)

Where is that place at? I am in process of moving from Dallas down to Schulenburg. The wife & I plan on seeing more of San Antone. I haven't been anywhere but the tourist attractions in years. I was stationed at Camp Bullis off & on in the late 80's/early 90's, and got to know many of the local joints.

It's not in Bexar County at all. Its in Comal County. Thats even better, I can go shoot some rapids up the road a bit and look at drunk college girls in skimpy bikinis playing in cold water. Sounds like I probably should leave the missus at home for this road trip.

Got the idea from an old friend who had customized license plates on his classic car. "Rebel" was already taken so he took "rbell" instead. No offense meant.
