Funk radiator help

Did the Funk conversions use a radiator from the same trucks as the engine? If so did it use the same mounting brackets and a shroud? Thank you.

No. The truck radiators were too wide. They had a radiator of their own. As a mater of fact I have seen more than one version of the 6 cyl. Funk radiators, some looked much like the regular 8N except for height, while some had more crude looking top tanks. The 6000 Ford radiator is very simular in size and looks to the Funk style but it is too wide to fit under the 8N hood(I tried). A good radiator man should be able to order a core of the correct dimensions and adapt to a standard 8N top and bottom tank. e-mail if you have other questions or need me to talk to my radiator man.
