I have an old two row corn planter I'm trying to identify. The guy who loaded it for us said they were only made until 1952, which leads me to believe it was developed for the N series.

The tag on it says it's a Ford brand implement, instead of a Ford-Furguson or Dearborn. The component number on the tag was I2-I75. The serial number is 2II5. It looks like inside the planter cans was once painted white, and I found traces of Ford red on the cast pieces of the frame under the planter cans. It seems like it's missing a piece that sits behind the cans, opposite the side with the 3 point A frame. The tubes from the cans agitator? unit down behind the seed plates look like they're made of plastic. I also believe the tops to the planter cans are missing. Can anyone help me ID this piece?

It is a series 309 which is a popular 2 row corn planter today, wearing parts are still available, from 1957 to 1964 they were red and light gray like the tractors, later they were blue and white.

You might also consider putting up a photo in the "Help Identify" section on the left. Sounds like an interesting old planter.
