Hey I been home for two days now with a bad case of this funk thats going around. I've read just about every piece of reading mat. I can find. My only other entertainment is this board you folks need to write more.

But Rusty don't ya know the rule? You go to work when you're sick and save your sick days to work on your "N" or when you have something else you'd rather be doing than going to work.

Sorry you're not feeling well...get better soon.

Greg, how are you doin'? And your 8N? I know how it's spose to work but in farmin' there are no sick days. I called in Wed. but the boss told me no cause the rear axle had come in for the combine thats sittin' on the hill, for a month now, Aftr gitting the old one out & the new one in we discovered they sent the wrong tie rod, to short, some serious toe out there.Turned out it was the right tie rod but the axle was 5" longer. This would have been alright if they would have sent the tie rod that matched the axle. Oh well, it's all part of farmin'

My wife is working on a play at our local community theater. They are putting on Jekyl and Hyde. Last night was their last dress rehersal. Jekyl had to whisper through the whole thing since this funk you speak of has taken away his voice. Tonight will be an interesting opening night for the show. As my wife put it, it could be the first mime version of Jekyl and Hyde.

I know what you mean! I started with a sore throat on Sunday. Should have stayed home on Monday, but that was last day of the Quarter and there was stuff that had to be done. By Tuesday noon I was completely wasted and had to go home. Sat around home on Wednesday wishing I had cable so I could at least watch baseball playoffs. Do you have cable? Should be a game starting up soon I would think.

Nope, no cable. Only one TV channel & it's soaps this time of day. I got a PO box in town & they keep sending me onfo on getting hooked up on a deal but out here they don't have a cable run yet & don't plan on it. One house per section of land isn't worth it to them. Everyone out here is on satilite tv. I lived on a road that led to 4 homes & the cable co. said if I could get 3/4 of them to signup they would run a cable to us, they all had sat. TV also. Such is life when you live in a wheatfield.
