What do you think about an oiler for the Governer

Several years ago, I followed some advice from my brother (who has an 8n) about installing an oil line from beneath the oil filter on my 9n to the governer. I had seen these on a some 9n's before but now I wander if it was a good idea. It's been on for about 3-4 years and I haven't had any problems with the oil pressure which is about 60 lbs. So I guess my question is: Do you think this was a good idea or not. I put a pressure fitting 't' under the filter and simply ran a 1/4" copper line from there to a fitting on the governer. Thanks for all comments. Ron

Yep you done right. Metal parts rotating at high RPMs 4 balls moving on a smooth metal surface to control the engine speed, The more lub the smother it works & the longer time before you have to rebuild it. Sounds good to me, gonna do that to mine this fall.
