I recently completed a full restoration of my jubilee '53 and have only one complaint....at low to medium idle the hydraulic lift seems to chatter or skip its way up when lifting an implement of any type. Not so noticable with the arms only attached but when any load is placed on it it sort of jumps its way up in little increments? Any ideas as to how to correct this?

Could be you have air in the system. I changed the "o" rings on the manifold that bolts to the bottom of the pump and air got in the system. If you have the piston pump, you can open the allen head plug until it starts flowing out and you should see some bubbles. When the bubbles stop, screw the plug back in. Helped mine. Oh, the tractor is running to do this, so make sure is it braked and can't roll any.
