I have 46 2n tractor. This is what i have done so far. I have replaced the points , Distributor Cap
and the coil.Still it is not firing.I heard that if the battery was not charged it would not produce enough juice for it to fire.Is this true?if not than if anyone has info please let me know.

If not firing means it won't start could be a variety of things. If not firing means there isn't a quarter inch of nice blue white fire at the plugs then the place to start is to read the voltage at the top of the coil and see if it changes with cranking. No voltage look backwards for open wires or bad switch. Voltage but doesn't vary look forward for troubles inside the distributor. Don't be afraid to remove the front mount distributor--it will only go back one way unless you force it so you can't get it out of time. The more information you post the quicker the great minds that lurk here can solve it for you. Kind like telling the doctor all of the story instead of just part of the story.

Your mileage may vary

( Is that you Elvis ? ) More information would be helpfull, did you just get the tractor, how was it running before, tune up ? Dont see where condenser and spark plugs were changed, yes a fully charged battery makes em start better. Give us a history so we have something to go by .

If it has enough juice to turn it over fast enough so it should start then it has enough to fire the plugs, did you replace all that stuff because it wouldn't start??
