Has anyone used an alternative method of installing the Nippondenso Starter Gear Reduction mechanism? I'm thinking of gettnig one and installing it but need to know if I could get by without one and go the Repair Gel route? Boris? any ideas about Repair Gel in place of the Nippondenso? Richard

Just pack the starter hole with repair gel until it oozes out and install the starter it will hold.
