This is a 1952 Tucker 4/Track Drive Sno-Cat I got it today and it runs GREAT!! It has a 3 speed 4/ Track Drive can do 25 MPH on the snow and has a heated cab. Hold 4 people plus gear. Powered by a 6 cylinder Dodge flat head. Real neat looking rig for the snow! The wife isn't to upset I got a good deal on it. Now I can spend some time learning about it. They have internet sites for people who collect them. It dosen't need much more than a paint job to restore it and it came with extra track and rollers to. It used to belong to the power company so it was takin care of mechnicly very well. Mark H.

Do you still have your Tucker snow cat? Do you want to sell
it? Are you aware of any web sites
with more information about Tucker
Snow cats?
Thanks,
Mike Parks

Well I hope he dose not think I would part it out!! I have found out that this is a rare Mod and year to be in this good of shape! Might not go as fast as a Snow Mobil but you sure would travel in CLASS in it. I also found out 10 miles per hour is about as fast as you want to go with it to make it last. Mark H.

KEEP IT ! KEEP IT! KEEP IT!
For $1400 the cops are going to be looking for you...it was a steal!! One trip to town during a blizzard will pay for it in peace of mind. The power company been using it for 50 years??? Hard to believe that.

I heard the reason they sold it was it was maintained all the time but hardly used at all?? The track holders are bearly scratched up and the tracks are good. I don't have much into it so it could be easier to convice the wife with comments like peace of mine during a storm or maybe my early christmas present?? Mark H.

Maybe there's reason it's in such good shape. They
could never get it started to use it! Those old Mopar sixes were real hard starters when it got
below zero. LOL

You'll never get a deal like that again. Let her drive it in the snow,,,that should convince her. Better than a snowmobile...can bring meals and a card table with you, AND eat in warmth! Bob in NY

I have been researching it for 3 plus hours now. I have learn a lot of what they have done in the past with them. They can pull some steep hills along with turning around safely on a side hill due to the way the tracks are. There is a following with them sort of like the Ns have just wasn't as many made and alot of them need parts to work and I was lucky this one was complete and sound running! I got the HP messed up it is 95 HP but with a top speed of 25mph it is geared low and gets 6-7 mpg on gas but with a 35 gal tank you can go aways with it, around 210 miles. Mark H.

That's one cool looking vehicle Mark, I'm jealous, though not too sure if it would make a good marsh buggy since we don't really have snow down here.

That is too cool Mark!
It would be a blast to have around here on the frozen lakes and swamps.
Maybe hire it out to pull peoples ice houses out onto the lake. Lot of resorts and lodges use old tractors for that but hauling them out onto the lake in a heated cab with their ice house in tow would be the ultimate.
It'll be fun to see what you do with it.
More pictures too.

I did not want to say it but I only paid 1,400.00 for it!! And I bet it would be worth 1,400.00 in fun with it! I do not have to do anything to it except use it! Mark H.

It will pull a big groomer to make trails with. I found out it can pull a 2,500 lb trailor and 1,350 lb load capasity inside. 115 HP engine. Found lots of information on it so far on the net! Mark H.

You have got to keep it at least for this winter to have something to play with. Tell the school bus kids there ain't gonna be any snowdays this year!

I am working on the wife!! In 1996 we were snowed it for around 9 days with a break of 3 hours after 5 days when we could just go to town and hurry back or we would have been snowed out! I have 40 acers that I could drive it around on and our roads during the winter never see the ground again till Feb or March so it would come in handy to have. Darn it to nice to get rid of this year the snow is so close to being here!! Mark H.

Man I would love to keep it for this winter to use but I told my wife I might sell it?? I want to keep it!!! This baby is to nice to do anything to except re paint it. Sure looks cool with the old style dodge look on the front. Even a movable spot light on the roof. It holds 40lbs oil presure and the engine is smooth. Nice tracks too! It came with a lot of spare parts for them in the back. Mark H.

If you are like me, you can tell her that you need to do some tweaking here and there to max out the resale value. I been doing that for 4 years on the 66 Mustang I bought at a deal and was going to make a quick turnaround buck or two on it. It is just too much fun to play with. Like my NAA. Keep it. It would be as useless as a milk bucket under a bull here in GA, but would be neat to see in action in the snow.
