I know this has been posted before, but I just thought I would show mine for some of the members that haven't seen it before. We can pick up these junk pallet jacks for scrap price or less. The parts that must be removed will make the top connection. The only cost I have in these is the cost of the 2 pins for the lift arms. Ron

Ron;
The location of the attachment for the top link determines if the lift stays level or tilts either way, (towards tractor or away), I have a carryall that I made and did a design with AutoCad and came up with a pretty nice carryall that basically stays where I put it. Level through the lift with only a very slight tilt toward tractor at the top of lift. Changing the location of the top link attachment will help.

That is awesome!!

Where do you think I can buy one of those old pallet loader forks cheaply? I'm in the Midwest, Kansas City area.

Thanks!

Sir, have gave anythought to rigging up a way to put this into the bucket on a front end loader? Or possibly making it so it would mount up to the frame of the loader with the bucket off? This would be an ideal solution to moving around those BIG square bales of hay.

Jim..... ...theys already got frontend loader forks attachments for buckets, check with your dealer.

CAUTION: most small tractor hydraulics arn't strong enuff to lift big bales. And on N-Tractors the frontend axle was really not designed to lift 2000# bales eather nor steer with heavy load.

There are some rear 3-point spears for lifting big bales BUT N's 3-point lift balance causes the front wheels to flap innna the breeze at about 750# and pops its internal safety pressure valve at about 1200#.

If you just gotta use your N-Tractor to move big bales, getta "doodle-bugg" style clamping 2-wheel trailer. Works slicker'n snott..... ....Dell

The price is right on that. I thought about building something similiar to that with a screen behind the drivers seat and use it to pick up piles of brush but the forks would probably have to be alittle longer. Later,Terry

Terry, the problem is with leveling, If you set it up level at ground level, it will point down when lifted, This one tilts to the tractor when on the ground and levels out when lifted. Check with any forklift repair shop, they often have long forks that are basically scrap. Ron
