Dave: In a few minutes I'm going to look at a '51 8N that has 50 hours on a rebuilt motor.....but got dirt in the motor and ruined it....and has bad tires. And I'm also gonna see a Fergie TO-20 that only runs on two cylinders.

Do I have your permission to part these (in which case I could make some money) or should I restore them (in which case, I'd make nothing...or probably lose money!)?

And I guess if I were to restore these tractors....I'd need used parts..... and you know what that means! (Uh-oh....)

Ok Bud, I guess you can't read or remember my beef with Mark, instead you start acting like a jerk makeing yourself look like a child.

My Beef with mark was over the BLUE 8n he parted out awhile back, Mark told us how well it ran, how good the hydraulics were, how well it moved (Even though it had a flat tire) etc. This blue 8n was'nt a pile of rusted iron, it had no trees growing through it. At that point I told Mark I thought it was a waste to "Part out " this tractor, that it sounded like it could and should be saved. I don't hate Mark nor does he hate me (Right Mark? LOL) So get your facts straight Mr. Magoo ! And Please mind your own Bee'z wax !
Thanks

(-: Grin, wink,wink

Never mind, Dave..... I went to look at the tractors- The 8N had been sitting for so long it had trees growing around and amongst it. It was so rusty, that I wouldn't even want to think about getting the parts off....and a lot of the good little parts had been swiped. The TO-20 really surprised me....it ran.....barely.....but not much good on it either. I didn't even make the guys an offer. If I could haul the 8N away for free....I might be able to sell the hood and steering boix....and junk the rest.

Now this really makes you think.....if Mark or I or Levi had gotten to these tractors when they were still in good shape, even if we parted them, at least the parts would be in use, and keep other tractors working- now, they're good for nothing but scrap metal.

O-K...this worked out nice as far as proving a point- but I wasted half a day and some gas looking for nothing.

We ALL lose when tractors get to that point!
