I have a 6 cylinder 2N. It does not have a radiator. What do I do about keeping it from freezing this winter? Is draining all the coolant that's in there now the answer? Or somehow add to it and how? I'm in the process of getting it running, it didn't come with a radiator. Thank you.

If you are concerned pour some 50% water & anti-freeze into the top hose opening till it starts to come out the lower hose then just duct tape it or put a hose on to stop a animal from getting to it. That will take care of any water left in the block. Or just drain it real good. Mark H.

You would be suprised at what could inhabit your motor during the winter. They could block up the water passages. Seal it as said. I even had chipmunks storing seed in the air filter of my car, couldn't beleive it at first.
Mice could do worse with their nest material.

I do not know where it is, but there is a drain plug somewhere on the side of the block to drain the coolant from the block to keep it from cracking. That is all you have to do if the block is setting level, that is not standing on end or something. If you are concerned, you could blow it out with air gun with a rag wrapped around the rad outlet.

When you pull the plug in the block side push a small screwdriver or punch in. I found a layer of rust/crud that blocked the hole and wouldn't let it drain.
