I'm still at it. Been working on the 9N since last March, and this morning, after shoveling the snow away from it and sliding the jack underneath the rear differential in 6 degree temperatures I lifted the rear and installed spanking new 8"x32" rear tires (I mean, these things are SPANKING new), and a pair of restored 32" hat rims and centers. We're expecting more snow and ice, but I plan to continue to work at it nonetheless.

...who cares if it is a blizzard around me, who cares if the tarp keeps blowing off, I don't. I plan on working on this 9N til I drop or get stuck frozen to it in the middle of replacing a sleeve, or frozen in motion lifting off the head...with a big smile on my face the whole time. I'm still comitted...better than any ol' postman can say wether it's raining, snowing, or tornadoes! I'm still at it and plan to do so until this thing is completely spec'd out to 1939-40 standards. Will send a picture when I develop the film :) -9N'er

p.s. (all of this in fun...)

Sounds like you have the same shop I have. You near Courtenay?

yeah, I know what you mean. The beauty of this shop is I can take it anywhere. It folds flat.

Wow!
You truley are an inspiration to me, Just the other day I stopped working on my 9n in my heated garage because I skinned my knuckle while removing a stuck bolt on the front end. I'm not worthy to own an "n". Thank you again for helping me to be more focused.

A few years back when we had the big ice storm here in Maine I was under a tarp working on my 2N. The tarp froze solid and eventually formed a rather comfortable ice shelter. Eventually i got it running and found that I couldn't plow the crusty ice anyway.

Good luck!

At least go in and get some lunch, no need to starve.
