i,am working on a 1941 9-n trying to fix my gas door set-up (flip-up) got hinges fixed but now you can not open gas door it hits the steering wheel????wrong size wheel? i,am running out of ideals,maybe hood sitting too high at dash?
any help please BOB
PS wheel is fairly flat that i have on it.not much of dish to it. thanks BOB

Bob,
Here is a pic of the steering wheel clearance on my '41.

If the 4 holes that hook the hood to the dash line up, and the radiator neck sticks up thru the hood about 1/2 inch, the hood should be on correct.

I'm going to assume (I know, I know) that the steering wheel is either too large or doesn't have the correct amount of "dish". If you need the offset measurement, I can measure mine tomorrow when it's not dark and raining!
