In the term, Clean, Bright and Tight, bright does not mean GLOW BRIGHT RED. LOL The washer on my solenoid was doing just that when I tried to start the N in real cold weather a couple of weeks ago. It's all rusted to crap and I have cheesy cables, so I ordered all new stuff from Don today. Even ordered a fuel valve kit, sediment bowl gasket, and a light switch. Gotta have some light on these short days doncha know. :-)

Hey Arne,
Are you sure that wasn't the rare and much sought after cigarrette lighter option you were looking at?

LOL, didn't think about that, but then I don't smoke either. ;-) It sure surprized me though. A lock washer (5/16?) glowing bright red, that's a bit of current.

Make sure you are ready to put the stuff on. Ordered $400 worth of parts from Don and they were at My door before I had time to clean everything up. Not complaining though. GO DON.
