Ron,
1. Make sure that the location on the Internet that you have your photo stored will support linking. Some photo hosting services have this limitation on their free accounts. If it is on your own computer only it will not work. It has to be on a server somewhere on the Internet. This site has some space and you might also check with your Internet Service Provider (like Earthlink or ATT) and see if they provide space.
2. RIGHT click on the photo when you are looking at it in Internet Explorer and on the context menu that pops up LEFT click on the very bottom entry, "Properties". If you use a hosting service such as Big Village then follow their directions which are slightly different. 3. The box that pops up has a bunch of information about the photo, including the "URL" (unique location on the Internet of your photo). Using your LEFT mouse button, highlight EVERYTHING that is part of the URL, starting with the HTTP part. 4. With the URL highlighted put the point of the mouse directly on it and RIGHT click. Then LEFT click on the word "Copy". This will save the entire string so you don't have to retype it later. Close the dialogue box and return to the forum. 5. Start a posting on the forum. At the very bottom just above the "Post Message" button is the "Optional Image URL" box. Place the tip of your pointer directly in the box and RIGHT click. From the context menu that appears LEFT click on "Paste". This will put that saved URL that you copied earier into the box. 6. Complete your message and post it. When someone views your message their computer will automatically go to the site where your photo is, retrieve it, and insert it into the message.

Hope this helps!

You need to post the picture via ftp to a server somewhere. You can post them here to YT. Then you link to them by supplying the url of that file. You can put the url in the Optional image url box below the comments box where I'm typing this. Or you can imbed the url using HTML in your text in the comment box, like this:third party imageThis image came from the tractor photos listed to the left and I used the picture properties, which I obntained by right-clickingon th eimage and then high-lighting the url, copied by using control-c. pasted into the text box by using control-v, with the necessary HTML tags
