Hey all - Can anyone guide me to a picture of the rear throttle shaft support. The one that bolts to the battery tray and supports the rear of the long rod that travels the length of the motor. It is on a 2N. My father in-law built one and I want to make sure it positions the throttle shaft correctly. Many thanks!

Thanks Joel! I built this support block this morning. It does not bolt in the stock location - holes all buggered up. I hope I got the holes in the right location. I fooled with the shaft last night until I found a location that gave full throttle movement without binding. A picture would be good to double check my work.

Al,

You can see 5 images at the link listed (should work, just been awhile since I've posted this stuff).

I did post the first pic here, as I don't know how to post them all.

The first 2 pics show an original brace and the last 3 show the welded nut method. The one with the nut is a '44 that I am doing a cleanup and engine rebuild on.

I can get ya a pic..... . Email me to remind me as I have both of my 2N's torn down to a certain extent. The back throttle support mounts on the edge of the battery tray so it is level and roughly parallel to the tractor centerline.

One of my N's has a back support made of a hex nut welded to the battery tray and the other N is still original.
