Several months ago someone posted a picture of an adapter that attached to their 3 point that would allow the use of a 2 inch receiver. The picture had all the measurements on it. I searched the archives and could not find it - could someone please re-post it or email it to me. Thanks!

Remember your three point does NOT have down pressure, so when you have negative tongue weight your hitch will rise, unless you have some way to prevent vertical motion. There are stay bars that go between your top link mount and your lower arms to hold the hitch at a preset level, but then you lose your easy hookup ability. So.....don't go around with the weight on the trailer at the back, and watch out when trying to load stuff with ramps. Truck

Good point - I mainly need something to be able to quickly move around a couple of car trailers (unloaded), a boat, and a camper. Gets to be a big pain backing the truck up to everything all the time. Thanks for the info.

Pat, here is another version of the 2" receiver hitch on an N tractor. It cannot be raised and lowered like Mark's, but it may be more stable and easier for a novice welder like myself to build. The only purchased part was a truck bumper 2" receiver adapter. The rest is scrap steel to bolt to the 11 hole utility bar. Philip.

I made this one for my Massey 135 works great easy to build 27 inches wide and 27 inches high. Made of box steel and a section of a reciver hitch welded on some strap steel with pins for the Lower Link Arms to hook to. Mark H.

I like the chain hooks welded on the corners, look like they would come in handy.

Allows me to pull from both sides of the lower link assembly at the same time and keep them low as not to pull the front end up and over if the load snags something. Mark H.
