i dont know who 8nguy is but a co worker brought up an interesting point,could somone be looking to steal a 52 8n and this is how he is gathering info as to where to find one,sure seems odd to narrow it down to such a specific tractor model and year. might want to be careful about what info ya put on there, since it is a yahoo thing anyone can then go and look at your yahoo profile and find out where you live if that info is on your profile.

Ahhh, come on, guys! Let him have his club house. After all, it IS a different tractor. Grins. I know that I won't be able to learn anything about my 49 there, so I will stay here. I never could get my distributor to hang on the side of my engine anyway.

sounds pretty silly to me, i dont own a 52 8n, the closest i come is our jubilee and a ferguson parts tractor i got around.even if i did have a 52 8n i dont think i would bother joining. that is such a narrow spectrum that i doubt there will be many memebers and even fewer posts. this board servs me fine and i think most everyone else too.there are so many things in comon with the other years that i see no need to create a group for that year only

What about 52's that are not painted the correct colors? Or if a very early Jubilee was built late in 52, would that qualify? What if I have a 52 8N engine in my 47 2N, does that mean I could browse but not post?

it doesnt matter if you have different gears...thats fine with me...all i want is ppl that own 1952 ford 8n....sorry all you others im just trying to get a good community of ppl that own 52 ford 8n's...its like having a group of owners of lets say.....2001 chevy impala's...you see what i mean....i created it cause i was tired of lookin for 52 ford 8ns while going thru 47's 48's etc....get my drift??

Sadly a seemingly nice young man can't try to do something important to him and get help. Why all the negative responses to him? If you don't want to join, fine, but leave him alone. Remember you all have something in common, tractors. Help him in any way you can, not tear him down.
