When the lift arms and quadrant on an 8N are all the way down, at what position does the quadrant need to be in for the lift arms to start upward? On my 52 8N I need to raise the quadrant nearly all the way to the top before the lift arms start to raise (they do lift all the way). I then need to drop them to my desired possition by lowering the quadrent. Is this the way they are supposed to work or is it time for adjustment?

Thanks for any help, I'm new to tractors.

Did you check the little lever on the right side under your seat? It should be vertical for
position control.
