Well, I met Alex once, but I don't have access to the picture in question. If I remember right, I *think* that he does work at NASA. That would be Friendswood, not Friendship, TX. FYI, NASA-Houston is not really in Houston. It's in Clear Lake, which is just down I-45 (SE) from Houston. Friendswood is actually closer to NASA than Houston is and many NASA people live there. It's just west of I-45. NASA is just east of I-45. It's hard for people from other areas to understand how much NASA means to the Houston community. I don't work for NASA myself, but I have many friends there. One of them was on a console at mission control Saturday morning. There are SO many people mourning for the Columbia crew. We went by the memorial in front of JSC Sunday. It is much larger and there are many more people going there than was my impression from what I had seen on TV. However, the people that work for NASA are incredibly dedicated to what they do. They are not there for the money and they would be lost if the programs were stopped. Sometimes I get e-mail from another one of my friends there at 10 o'clock at night from his office e-mail address. He's not there because he has to be. He's driven from inside to perform his work. They will go on and they must be allowed to go on. Sorry for the long post. Blake '52 8N512510 Rosharon, TX (SW of Friendswood - about 20 minutes away)
