We've got 2 '48 8Ns here in Cooperstown NY. One I use to maintain 12 acres of grass. The other will under go a motor swap when it gets warm as it has a cracked block. Then I'll fix up and add a couple of implements and use both for all the chores on this little farm we're building.

1 1942 2N Ford
Back blade for snow removal, and keeping yard and driveway graded
5 Ft cultivator to keep the weeds down in the patch of dirt in front of the house that used to be a riding arena
1 set of diamond harrows to smooth the ruts on dirt road, or the dirt field
48 " finish mower for cutting about 5 acres of grass on my 17 acre property...
Have been known to run a hay ride or two using the neighbours light trailer hooked on the N.

Hell of a lot of good use for something that at 61 years of age should rightfully be retired by now ...
Gotta Love them N's ...

One 1939 9N on 2 1/2 acres in North Central Texas, box blade, bush hog, dirt scoop, carryall. Generally just a pleasure to own and operate.

Rescued tractor from a barn in East Texas. I am the third ower. Eight months of TLC and elbow grease and now it runs and drives like new.

I have two 8ns, one is a 1949 and the other is a 1950, side mount dist. I have a 5 1/2' box blade for leveling and moving dirt on my tiny 3 acres. Also have a 8' snow blade, brush hog, 2 bottom Dearborn plow, an old cultivator. Oh yea, I bundled up a bunch of old 4"x4" wire horse fence for draggin around the horse arena to get it real purty for the big critters.

I live in SW Colorado and wish I was plowin more snow.

Here in Buncombe we've had 3 or 4 good snows, but only one that required driveway to be scraped.

I recently tore down an old metal shed and used my backblade to clear and level the site for the new one. While I was at it I piled some brush for burning.

I frequently use my carryall or boom pole to move rocks or poles/logs. 2 or 3 times a year I bushhog. twice a year I plow and harrow.

I also make quarterly runs to the junkman with a trailer full of hard junk.

Then around Thanksgiving I wash her up touch up the dings, paint the tires and ride in the Christmas parade.

From Waldo, Ohio, 30 miles north of Columbus. One early 1950 8N used for mowing, snow removal, manure hauling, beer runs, and a whole bunch of enjoyment.

No one has replied with a Jubilee, so I guess I will be the first.(if they count) Bought this one 2 yrs. ago to maintain 5 acres (mow, 6' finish, bush-hog, 5' hog, maintain gravel drive, 800' with grader box and back blade) I have also acquired a dirt scoop, boom pole and two trailers to pick-up rocks and landscape. I live in the blue grass region on Kentucky. Since I got it, I have replaced the pump from vane to piston and converted (with Dells help) to 12v.(thanks) The tractor is real ugly as it was painted solid red and is peeling. Need to attend to loose axle hubs, replace brakes and paint. Noticed yesterday while pushing snow, right front wheel starts to turn before left one does. With out this board, I would not know what is wore out (THANKS YOU GUYS)

Just joking, you have been a big help..... ....Ray

I have a 1944 2N. I plow show in the winter on a 1500 foot driveway. I use a box blade on the drive in the summer to keep it smooth. I bush hog 3 - 4 acres. I also use a 4 foot Woods Finish mower from time to time to mow my 4 acre lawn when I want a change from my Dixie Chopper. I also pull a trailer to haul trash, fallen limbs. brush etc. I have also pulled fallen trees

1 Tractor-51 8N It lives with a red trailer, built in 1951 by my father, most of the time. With my 8N I: grade the gravel driveway, drill post holes and planting holes, bushhog 4-5 acres of 25, plow the infrequent snows, move dirt with the scoop or blade, plow the garden, haul firewood (two fireplaces and a woodstove) carry tools around to support any task, carry brush to the burn pile, and most importantly pull trailer rides through the woods-kids and parents love it!

I live west of Montague Michigan. One mile from "The Big Lake". My one tractor for now is my late 1950, 8N. I use my Woods rear mount finish mower to maintain 3 acres I call our park, here by the house where we live. I also have been driving the tractor to another house we are remodeling 11 miles away, three times through the summer to mow the grass there. I really want a trailer, but the rides have have been great. I see a lot of deer on those trips. I use my 7' backblade to pull the snow out of my driveway. I use a utility trailer behind "Duke" to haul leaves away in the fall and hayrides for the family. I bought a Boom Pole last fall and used it to reposition a 12 by 14 deck once and to lift all the 600 lbs. of weight that I carry in my pickup for the winter with no back strain. I will be using the tractor to do some farming of 30 acres in a few years.
I just made a deal on a Dearborn 2 bottom plow and a Dearborn sickle mower.

I am 15 miles west of Syracuse NY.

51 8N
52 8N

Use them on 45 acres for pulling gang moweres, shredder, back blading...mostly snow..., pulling trees for fire wood, a scoop for some digging and dirt moving, a boom pole for loading and unloading, a carry all for moving things and I love to just ride around the spread look at the trees.

Upstate, NY. '47 2N that hauls a rear platform occasionally, pulls in #3000 class, and looks good at shows, '50 8N that hogs 10 or so acres,
'53 Super C that just retired from the hoggin', got redone and now pulls and shows, '53 Super H that is awaiting paint, '50 JD B that is also awaiting beautification, '48 A that does odd chores, '64 A/C D10 awaiting an engine job, a '54 Super M in line behind the D10, a 961 with a loader that hasn't made it home yet, and a JD 70 that shows, pulls, and does ANYTHING the others can't!

10 miles or so south of Burlington, Vermont...8 Acres...1948 8N...Brush Hog about 4 of it...Drag logs off the rest for firewood...Rear customized 6 foot snowblade for pushing snow...Have actually fairly successfully used it a couple times for grading dirt...Old 3-bottom Oliver Plough shortened to one bottom for use in the spring and fall for the vegetable garden...Really old set of drag harrows for after ploughing...I have an old tube loader that came off when I got the tractor running that I have never put back on...My plan for this summer is to re-attach the loader arms on the tractor, but replace the bucket with a snow blade...Driving around...Often will just hop on and joy ride...

Maintaining 5 acres, a dirt road and llama pasture.

Have 2 44's... one is being "refreshed" and should be running next weekend. The other is the regular tractor. Really have one as a backup.
