I have a black top driveway and I am having trouble getting traction when I plow the snow. Should I use chains or will they tear up the driveway?

Some chains will eat pavement faster than others...

There are what they call 'road chains' that will not tear up your drive unless you really get them spinning...

Try the 'Ladder' type at the site below...All you will need on fairly level ground...

what am I doing wrong? Been using chains for over 20 years on the same driveway. Can't seem to tear it up...mike
