Question.
I am changeing the oil for the Transmission and rear end on my 8n.
Who ever had it before me had it away over full. About 8 Gal. Instead of 5 Gal.
How much damage will this cause?
The oil seems to be good no water or foam . Also no built up gunk.
Thanks Ron.....

Ron..... ..as far as I know, overfill is generally NOT A PROBLEM. except that could cause leaks out your 6" roundplates dipstick or PTO shifter roundplate. OR out the studs that hold the roundplates on.

BUT OVERFILL can cause leaks out your rear axle seals and greese your brakeshoes real slick and makeitt hard to stopp. While there are brake-clean chemical sprays available, I'd suggest you'd seriously consider replaceing your brakes if they've been well soaked..... ..Dell
