Sam, I purchased a 2 bottom Ford Dearborn for $350.00 last year. I invested 40hrs in it, (tear down, sand etc.), with no regrets. Bought a $60.00 mold board + 2 14" shares to replacce the 12" shares it came with. Holes matched up perfectly. Price per share about $15.00 from Fleet Farm. Mold board $60.00. Check out Gallery on left under implements and Search for "Ford fergeson" or Item #228.

The good news: New shares are available from New Holland. The bad news: (from the clerk at New Holland) "I didn't know we sold any shares that were that expensive."

Such a plow, in good shape and complete would probably go for about $300, as they are in demand. If it needs shares, you will spend about that much on the new parts. They work pretty good with an N or hundred series.

If it's a Dearborn 2-14" with a good tag, both coulters, tail wheel and in good shape all around (might be rusty) I've been watching them go for around $150 - $200. A 2-12" will go $50-$75 more. A good 1-16" will go higher yet.
Buy it, use it for a few years and you'll always get your money back.
Happy plowing
