OT: Remember Roperboy? his post of "Going to miss this board" of Feb 25th stated he was heading for the gulf. It sure would be nice if he received a few pages of this board, (questions/answers). Maybe Kim could help out. Would need his E-mail address to ask for a forwarding address + pages of this board sent to that address. Maybe Kim could help?

Pete, May you take with you a few things:

I always wanted to be a fighter pilot. But My color blindness kept Me from doing that. So I never went into the military. A great big THANKS to all that have, past, present and future. We pray for our boys and girls in the service often. Hope you all come home to the good old USA, safe and soon.

Just to let you know when our service men/women get home I'm gonna be at the airport with my a$$ kicking boots to make sure you get the respect you deserve in stead of the treatment we got when we got back from Vietnam.

My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family, and thank you for your service. Many of the guys on this board have faced the same thing (RVN, 1969) so we really understand what it is like. It's a bad job but somebody has got to do it.

I did my four years and didn't want to but I have never regreted doing them.
