Transmission Fluid Leak

I have a slow drip of tranny fluid coming out throught the cotter pin hole in my 2N's bell housing.

I have heard several mentions about replacing the front tranny seal, but not sure where that part resides???

I have a sherman step-up. Does the sherman tranny share fluid with the tractor's tranny? If so, then is the seal I need to replace the one that is inside the sherman tranny where the input shaft enters the sherman? Or do I have to take apart further than that?

Thanks guys.

There is a seal that is in the housing of the input shaft. There are also gaskets where the Sherman meets the trans and where the input shaft housing meets the Sherman.

Yes, the Sherman and the trans share the oil.

Ciao
