Lots of times the float wont hold the fuel back because of dirt under the needle. I found its always worth a try to shut the fuel of at the tank and take the drain plug out of the bottom of the carb. when fuel stops running out , replace the plug and turn on the gas. with the float down and the needle wide open, the rush of gas will wash out the dirt the float needle will shut off.Hope this helps.

Floats may be stuck. Had that happen a couple weeks ago. After I fixed it... I shook the cab to HEAR the floats rattle around. Let's ya know that they're not binding.
