What do guys think of the statement made by the Dixe Chicks in reference to the troops and the Commander in Chief.I understand there has been much backlash against them and their products. Why would anyone do that knowing it is going to cost them big bucks...R.M. In AL.

If the TV is correct, why are they airing our war details? I saw last nite where we are going to use a new campaign technique, i.e. a combined landing of ground troops, air cover, bombing, and paratroops landing in the north. Why all the details?????

I think the "Dixie Chicks" shifted their mouth into gear before engaging their brains. No matter what you personally think of Mr. Bush he is our President -- and if nothing else -- deserves the respect that goes with that office. My friends around the country and especially in Austin and Dallas are more ashamed the Dixie Chicks are from Texas than President Bush. Those Dixie chick C.D.'s make nice pistol targets if you toss them into the air. Jim

Come on Jim, Lets not contaminate the beloved U.P. of MI with C.D. splinters. That's down right littering! Put an add in the paper and sell them at 40% their original cost. That way those who were going to buy them, buy yours for much less and the "Bagdad Chicks" bank roll takes a hit and the $ you get can go to a local charity.

Well here's my 2¢

When any group go on the road, they're out there to Please the Crowd that there performing for. If they're performing for The Troops, They would make cracks about Saddam Who's-sane. So if your out side the country. Why not impress the crowd and say something stupid about the USA? ( or Bush) in this case. ( comics do it all the time)

I'm not defending the (Chicks) I think they Messed up big time. The Radio stations around here stopped playing there music. And some had trash cans if you wanted to come by and throw the (Chicks) CD's away.

It's been said: That you would be judged for every word that comes out of your mouth.

"But the tongue can no man tame; [it is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison."

And one other thought: The brighter the light the more Dirt you can see.

The reality is that they (Dixie Chicks) don't have whole a brain between all of them combined!!!

What's that motto..... ..... ...

"Think before you speak"

Also, who cares what the bimbo band says anyways?? RIght up there with the Hollywood zeroes!

I work in defense as an antenna technician supporting Lockheed products..... .F117, F22, U2.

To rid the world of Sadaam and his offspring is just another step in the right direction.

eNjoy..... .....
