Hello again,

Now that I've decided to add brakes to my trailer, I have another question.

I need a mower for my 8n. I only have 2.4 acres, so I'm torn between a rotary cutter or a finishing mower. I wouldn't go any larger than a 5 footer. What do you think? The ground is relatively level, with no heavy brush just a lot of clovers.

I've seen this neat little mower called a Scorpion rotary cutter. It looks like a finishing mower, but it's a rotary cutter with 4 blades. Anyone have any experience with this cutter? I'm not quite looking for that "golf course look", but I don't want a "cow pasture look" also. Maybe a nice "park look." Thanks again.

Cost wise, you might be better off to go with a riding lawn mower for just two & a half acres.
It will be easier to get closer to things & do a good job.
Other then that, I would think it sounds like you should be looking for a finish mower. I have a Woods RM-306 that I use on about 7 acres here and it does a fine job. (Wife does around the barn & house with the rider)
