My first attempt to post a pic. This was in Montana and even with chains, when I got too far off in the barrow ditch against the snow bank, it would not move. Lots of snow!!!!

I knew it, I knew it. With all that sky slowly comming down as the picture opened down to the tractor I said to myself, "this has to be the Big Sky country", Montana.

Sorry about your getting stuck. Actually, sometimes it's fun to yank out a stuck vehicle, especially in decent weather and when you're not in a hurry.

Here in Buffalo, that's a "dusting" of snow.

It like the old story about 4 WD's get stuck more often than 2WD./.. We take them where they don't belong... I felt like SUPER 8N with my chains but the oil pan and axle housing brought me up short also..All our snow is gone..John

Temporarily detained... I've dug a few vehicles out with a #10 grain shovel.

Buffalo-you sure you aren't from Texas withyour comment about a little "dusting?" It sure is tough living here in the sunny south wiht no snow this winter after being born and raised at Meadow Grove, Nebraska and then, in North Missouri. ure would like to have to pull the overshoes on and off , again, every time I went in and out the door. Ahhh, it's tough. My wife always talks like she wants to winter where there's snow. I just don't miss it that much.

What part of Montana? Down here in the Gallatin Valley it is all beige today. Was up above Big Sky at Mountain View on Wednsday and even that high they don't have that much around the roads--went up and brought back a Stratus and lived to tell about it.

Your mileage may vary

For such times were scoop shovels made!!! Lightweight aluminum would be my preference... A great memory jogger!

Wow - pretty picture

I bet the tractor didn't even steer, did it?

all that resistance pulling on the right tire probably twisted the tractor right into the bank.

Cool.
