Howdy, great forum and a wonderful site here!!! I'm hoping there is a simple answer for this, but in all my research so far (even with the service manual) I have not been able to find any info regarding the correlation between the left brake and clutch. IE, when set up correctly, how are you supposed to use your left foot??? It seems as though their is bracket or clamped on arm on the brake arm that could be rotated around to a point where when you press the clutch, the brake would engage (under), or if it was in the over position, you could press the brake and slip the clutch??? Either way, right now it is in some in between position and does neither. (Just like my brakes right now!!!) Like I said, I don't know... But when I rebuild my brakes it would be nice to have it "right". PS does anyone know if the YTMag Rebuild Your Brakes video is any good????
Thanks in advance, and good thing my box blade has ripper teeth!!!,
Adam

Adam, you are on the right track. I would suggest that first to adjust the clutch. Next adjust the brakes, and thirdly adjust the brake pawl cam lever to activate the brake just as the clutch pedal is at the point of full release. This likely will NOT work if running boards have been installed as they limit clutch, hence brake travel. This can be like sawing legs off a three legged table to level it. However it is nice when you accomplish the desired result.
